Hard days!

Well let's just say yesterday didn't start on a good note, I thought I was getting awoken by my mom to get up and go to Youth Council, but I looked at the clock and thought it's still to early to get up!! So then next thing I know she is telling me the news of my grandmas passing in Puerto Rico, I couldn't believe it was really I thought I was waking up to a bad dream and that I would wake up and everything would be ok but it wasn't, everything my mom said was true and was not a dream. I started to cry and stay in bed for the day and never get up, but I had to be strong for my dad I couldn't even imagine what he was going through, losing his mom.
So I decided that I had to go on with the day and go to Youth Council, it was my last meeting for the summer and the last meeting for the seniors who graduated to say goodbye, which was another hard thing for me because I will really miss them!
I found out when I got home my cousins and aunts and uncle were coming here to fly out for Puerto Rico today, so I had to hurry up and help clean the house so they would have somewhere to stay. We all ended up only having about an hour and half of sleep before they all had to be at the Airport, all the rustle and bustle going on in the house was crazy at 4am, but they all got it together quickly and headed off on their long day of travels. Before my dad left I kissed him good bye and wished him Happy Father's Day, and I said I loved him and to be safe on his travels. I'm going to miss him soo much this week and praying for him that he is ok with these hard times the family is going through, but we will all get through it because she is in a better place and is not suffering anymore. I will miss my grandma a lot even though I didn't see her very much, I will remember everything she taught me about cooking and our fun trip to New York last year and cherish it always!!
Te quirero mucho para siempre abuela!! <3>

Cedar Point

Yesterday I went to Cedar Point with Youth Council, we had a blast and rode almost all the coasters there are at the park.

I spent most of the day with my friends Chris, Carrie, Megan, Pat, and Jackie, other council people joined and left our little group through out the day too.

12 rides is the count I have of all the rides, we rode through out the day starting with the Iron Dragon, Mantis, Maverick, Mean Streak, Wicked Twister, Gemini, Max Air, Raptor, Disaster Transport, Millennium Force, Cadillac Cars, and Top Thrill Dragster.

A lot of the coasters I rode for the first time, which was really cool because I got to try new things and be daring!!

The best new ride I rode was the Wicked Twister and Mantis, the Mantis is the roller coaster where you stand up and ride, you go upside down, twist and turn all while standing up, and the Wicked Twister goes backwards and forwards while going up two twists!!

We waited in line the longest I think for the Maverick and the Dragster, it was about an hour for each one, and it wasn't that bad this year because normally those two are the most popular of all the coasters, and have the longest wait ever.

My all time favorite of the day and the one we saved for last was the Top Thrill Dragster which goes 120 mph and 240 ft. in the air, and if you love thrill and are daring this ride is for you. This was the second time I rode this coaster and it was amazing. This year decided to sit towards the back of the coaster because the lines were shorter and we didn't have much time left before we had to leave for the day, I think the front row is more fun but I was happy I had at least got to go on it before we had to leave the park!!!

Hopefully I'll go back soon this year and ride all the coasters again , and maybe ride some more that I didn't get a chance to go on during this trip to Cedar Point!!!
